Actihaemyl® Eye-Gel
Composition :
1 ml of solution contains : active pharmaceutical ingredient : chemically and biologically standardised, protein-free hemodialysate of calf blood 8.3 mg. Other ingredients: benzalkonium chloride 0.1 mg, carboxymethylcellulose sodium, disodium edetate.
Indications and usage:
Corneal ulcers of various origin ( injuries of the cornea) corneal erosion induced by lyes and acids, corneal inflammation of various origin such as keratitis bullosa and neuroparalytics keratitis, prophylaxis and treatment of radiation traumata (ultraviolet radiation, x-rays, and other high-energy short-wave radiation), degenerative changes of the cornea and conjunctiva, follow-up treatment of cornea transplantations.
Contraindications:
Contraindications are not known to date
Side-effects:
Side-effects have not been observed to date.
Drug interactions:
Interactions with other drugs have not been reported to date.
Dosage, made and duration of administration:
One droop of Actihaemyl Eye Gel is instilled into the conjunctival sac several times daily.
Actihaemyl Eye Gel is applied to the conjunctival sac. The tube should be closed immediately after use. Duration and frequency of application depend on the severity of the disease. It is recommended to apply Actihaemyl Eye Gel until all symptones have subsided.
