Hylan®
Composition:
Medicinally active component:
1 ml solution contains : 0.15 mg Sodium hyaluronate.
Other components: Carborner 981, glycerol, purified water.
Areas of application:
Symptomatic treatment of dry eyes (dry eye syndrome).
Contraindications:
Hylan should not be used if hypersensitivity to any component is documented.
Side-effects:
A temporary burning sensation may occasionally occur immediately after application.Vision may be blurred briefly after application are distributed evenly. This should be taken into consideration when operating machines or participating in traffic.
Drug interactions:
None reported currently.
Caution:
No studies regarding the influence of Hylan on intraocular pressure or its effect on measured results obtained are available.
